The Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) is a center for education and research in the field of intellectual property, offering an English LL.M. program in „Intellectual Property and Competition Law“ (www.miplc.de).

For this program the University of Augsburg is seeking an

Administrative Director (TV-L 13)

Entry into duties: ASAP. S/He will manage marketing and PR (online and print), identify new sources of funding, work with program applicants, arrange student internships, and plan and implement program events as well as training programs. Moreover, s/he will interface with various units of the University of Augsburg and will manage program finances.

Qualifications include a graduate university degree, excellent communication skills in an international and intercultural environment, strong organizational skills, basic accounting skills, and the ability to work with a team. Excellent language and writing skills in English and German (English native speaker preferred), computer proficiency, and a strong track record in project management are indispensable. Professional experience is required, preferably in academic program administration, marketing management, and publicity.

This appointment is initially limited for two years. S/He will be based in Munich with regular travel to Augsburg. Applications from women are especially welcome. In case of equally qualified candidates, applicants with disabilities will be given preference. Job sharing is possible.
