The Center of Management Development and Knowledge Transfer at the University of Augsburg

The Center of Management Development and Knowledge Transfer at the University of Augsburg (ZWW) coordinates and organises events in respect of further training and knowledge transfer at the University of Augsburg, designs a variety of offers, plans programmes in cooperation with the relevant teaching staff, deals with all organisational aspects and addresses the relevant target groups.

Its central task is to edit topical knowledge obtained from university research in such a manner that it becomes a useful problem-solving tool for persons holding responsible positions. For this purpose, the Center of Management Development and Knowledge Transfer offers a large number of seminars, study courses, advice services, research and developing projects, congresses, conventions and workshops.

In doing so, the Center of Management Development and Knowledge Transfer pursues the goal of making available the knowledge and innovation potential of the University to interested persons from the economy, and vice versa of introducing new practice-related impulses into the University.

In 2004 Augsburg University earned the ranking of “Best University” in respect of further training.
