description

In order to support value-based management and to ensure compliance with regulatory transparency requirements and legal reporting obligations, enterprises require corporate-wide consistent data with risk & return information. Currently there exists a wide range of technical integration approaches such as data warehouse or OLAP solutions. However, due to the lack of adequate financial methods and performance measurement systems it is so far impossible to develop consistent risk and return databases that support an integrated risk & return management.

Therefore, the vision of Integrated Enterprise Balancing is to enable corporations of all industries to control their business activities with corporate-wide consistent risk & return measures while ensuring compliance with both regulatory transparency requirements e.g. Basel II and legal reporting obligations e.g. SOX.

Key aspects are:
- business fundamentals of the 4R-information architecture
- 4R-information architecture (reference architecture) for constructing organisations and processes
- 4R-information architecture (reference architecture) for constructing information and communication systems
