Women wishing to have a successful career, have a lot of questions in their minds: How can a demanding career be combined with a fulfilling private life? How can they cope with prejudice and disadvantages in their daily work activities? How can talented young women thrive and take on leadership positions? In order to find answers to these and further interesting questions worth to be thought about, the graduate program FIM is conducting the event “Women and Career” for female students from all disciplines. The unique event provides the chance to ask questions to and discuss face-to-face with four successful women of renowned companies. The business women are going to talk about their career paths and share their personal experiences with the participants. After the discussion, an informal get-together with cold buffet can be used to get to know each other and to carry on the conversation. The event is going to take place at the University of Augsburg (Building I1, Room 1201/02) on Friday, May 3rd 2013, from 4 pm till 6 pm. Members of the panel are:
