Financial Support

Currently there are no tuition fee contributions to be made by students especially for the elite graduate program (as long as the program is not assessed as a so called “Zweitstudium” for you, which is generally not the case if you apply with a bachelor's degree). Accepted students will have to pay tuition fees that amount to € 480 per semester (for the University of Augsburg) and are mandatory for all Bavarian students. If you wish to apply for individual financial aid please refer to the institutions below.

Program Scholarships
We want students of the Elite Graduate Program to be able to fully concentrate on their studies. Therefore we have introduced a special scholarship program in cooperation with our business partners. Every student can apply for scholarships at the beginning of the first semester. For more information please contact Anna-Luisa Müller.

Other Scholarships
Financial Aid is provided e.g. by the Begabtenförderungswerk in Germany. A comprehensive list of all possible Financial Aid programs can be accessed at the Index Deutscher Stiftungen. For admission criteria please refer to the relevant institutions. You may also contact Mrs. Bintakies at the University of Augsburg for further information concerning these programs ( Phone: 0821/598-5159, E-Mail: Karin.Bintakies@ZV.Uni-Augsburg.DE)

BAföG
For comprehensive information on BAföG please refer to the web sites of BAföG-Forum or the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung. For a contact person at the University of Augsburg please see the local Studentenwerk.

Student Loans
Additionally to the scholarships, the FIM-program offers an individual loan financing of their studies to the students. The repayment will depend on the salary of the students after the successful accomplishment of the FIM-Program. Students with salaries below a certain amount, students in maternity leave or students doing a PhD-Program will be disengaged from payments during that time. For more information please contact Anna-Luisa Müller.
