Here you can find some of our networking activities and social events, to connect with other PhDs and post-docs at our faculty. We also share planned workshops and seminars of the FAI Graduate Center and collect your feedback and wishes for future events. 

PhD barbecue in the summer

The PhD BBQ takes place every year in front of the Institute of Geography. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know each other and to get in contact with further PhDs and Postdocs at our faculty.  

FAI-Exchange

The FAI-Exchange aims to provide an informal space for early-career researchers within the Faculty to connect and discuss research, as well as broader topics relevant for academic life. If you are interested in joining such a gathering, we meet every month.

We organized other social and networking events in the last year such as job talks and the FAI Stammtisch.

• Meet and Mingle: These are great opportunities for FAI doctoral and postdoctoral researchers to meet and chat for the first time
• Showcase and Share: We present and talk about the current and upcoming events of the Graduate Centre. This is your chance to discuss your wishes for future workshops and seminars.
