Esther Rituerto-González is Post-doc Researcher in the field of Affective Computing in the Dept. of Signal Theory and Communications of the Univ. Carlos III of Madrid. At present she is working on a project on the development of a wearable solution for the detection of gender-based violence situations.

Her research focuses on Emotion Recognition via Speech. She is interested in the application of Machine and Deep Learning for Social Good, e.g. Healthcare, Mental and Emotional Wellbeing, Climate Change and Gender Equality.
