Vita

Markus Hang, geboren 1989, absolvierte sein Abitur am Deutschherren-Gymnasium in Aichach. Von 2010 bis 2013 studierte er informationsorientierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre (B. Sc.) an der Universität Augsburg mit dem Schwerpunkt Finance and Information. Im Anschluss absolvierte er bis 2015 den Elitestudiengang Finanz- & Informationsmanagement (M. Sc. with honors) der Universität Augsburg und der Technischen Universität München in der Vertiefungsrichtung Finanzmanagement. Zusätzlich zum Studium konnte er zahlreiche Einblicke u.a. als Hilfswissenschaftler an der Universität Augsburg sowie praktische Erfahrungen im Praktikum als Business IT-Consultant bei Senacor Technologies AG sammeln. Seit Oktober 2015 ist er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter Mitglied der Forschungsgruppe von Prof. Dr. Andreas Rathgeber. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte im Bereich Corporate Finance sind Unternehmensfinanzierung, Risikomanagement, Umweltökonomik und Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement. Seine Dissertation mit dem Titel "Firm Value Effects of Capital Structure and Hedging Decision - Empirical Evidence from Meta-Analysis and Electric Utility Firms" schloss Markus Hang im November 2018 ab.
