On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you virtually to the University of Augsburg for the 11th EMMI/FAME+ Master Research Workshop, to be held on 16th of September, 2021. Built in the framework of the European FP6 Network of Excellence FAME NoE (Functional Advanced Materials and Engineering of Hybrids and Ceramics), and also part of the European Multifunctional Material Institute (EMMI: www.emmi-materials.eu), the FAME+ Master is now in its third ERASMUS MUNDUS edition. The objective of this meeting is the individual presentation and open discussion of the research work carried out in the context of the students’ master thesis which covers a wide variety of topics. Other equally important purposes of this meeting is the exchange of experiences, and the opportunity to deepen the bonding developed between all those involved over the last couple of years. Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic crisis, this workshop again will be special. It will be the 2nd virtual EMMI/FAME +Master Research Workshop.
