The 17^th Workshop of the dggö committee "Allocation and Distribution" takes place at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Augsburg on November 6-7, 2026. The workshop starts Friday noon and ends Saturday noon.

Prof. Odd Rune Straume (University of Minho) will give a keynote lecture on "Pricing and Regulation in Pharmaceutical On-Patent Markets."

The workshop brings together the members of the allocation and distribution committee and other interested scholars. It provides an opportunity for networking and academic discussions. Both are fuelled by presentations of recent research papers. Among others, the following topics will be considered for presentation:

• Prioritization or rationing of health care services
• Regional distributional aspects of health care provision
• Risk selection in health care
• Inequality in health
• Physician behaviour and incentives
• Distributional effects of health care financing
• Distributional criteria for health care goods

Theoretical, empirical, and experimental contributions are all equally welcome. All participants are expected to actively engage in the workshop, for example, by presenting their own research, discussing the research of others, or chairing a session.

Submissions: Please submit your paper or an extended abstract (up to 800 words) by July 31, 2026 to max.neuhaus@uni-a.de.

Notification of acceptance: August 31, 2026 (at the latest).

Registration: Registration for the workshop is now open. Please register by September 30, 2026 using this link. There is no registration fee.

Accommodation and travel expenses: All participants cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. Food and beverages during the workshop are provided by the organizers.

A limited number of rooms has been reserved at Hotel am alten Park, Frölichstraße 17, 86150 Augsburg. The hotel is within walking distance of Augsburg Central Station (approx. 450 meters).

Room block includes:

• 10 Basic single rooms – EUR 94.00 per night
• 20 Comfort single rooms – EUR 114.00 per night

Both rates include breakfast buffet.
