Recent and ongoing research in the fields of Educational Psychology and Empirical Educational Research will be presented and discussed in the research colloquium. In addition to scientists from the University of Augsburg, researchers from other research institutions will also report on their work. All colleagues, doctoral researchers and students are cordially invited.

What do we know about teachers’ emotions? And how do teachers regulate their emotions? In this talk, we will present key insights from our empirical work on teachers’ emotions and emotion regulation. We will mainly focus on situational experiences, including teachers and students’ perspectives. Finally, we will outline implications for future research projects and provide insights into ongoing work, highlighting promising directions for better understanding and supporting teachers’ emotional and functioning.
