Eva Nuhn presented our work Mapping Indoor Sounds as Potential Landmarks for Auditory Wayfinding at the AGIT Conference in Salzburg. The paper introduces a systematic mapping of 248 indoor sounds across three university campus buildings and proposes a two-level taxonomy comprising 11 sound classes and their subclasses. The results demonstrate that indoor sounds can be systematically identified and characterised, providing a novel dataset that supports future research on auditory wayfinding.
