Current Projects
Project duration: January 2026 - December 2027
Funding: Programme to promote the acquisition of top-class third-party funding (University of Augsburg)
Summary: The Foresight project aims to empower policy makers, the private sector, and communities to anticipate and confront the cascading risks that threaten resources and stable agricultural production. Foresight will combine quantitative and qualitative data and methods to identify 1) land pressures and risks to agricultural production from socio-economic and political factors, including resource scarcity and inequality; the accelerating climate disruptions intensified by El Niño; and 2) resilience factors to catalyze action for stronger land systems and harvests that can endure an uncertain future and strengthen integrated security.
