Short Information


Information for applicants who hold an undergraduate studies degree from a foreign university

A natural sciences degree from undergraduate studies related to environmental and climate sciences (e.g. Geography, Meteorology, Hydrology, Geoecology) is required for the Master studies “Climate and Environmental Sciences”. The final grade must be minimum 2.99 according to the general examination regulations of the University of Augsburg. A comparable foreign degree can also be accepted for admission.

To apply for the master studies “Climate and Environmental Sciences” you need the following documents:


  • Application form which you get after successful registration at
  • Certificate of general qualification for university entrance (copy)
  • Certificate of undergraduate studies (copy) and transcript of records
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Certificate of a German language test (min. level B2)
