Anastasia Semertzidou received her Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2008 and her Master of Science in Medical Informatics from the same university in 2012.
She previously worked on the EU-funded research project Long Lasting Memories. Working with the Greek Association of Alzheimer's Disease and Relative Disorders, she recorded and analysed electroencephalograms, worked on experimental procedures, analysed neurophysiological monitoring measures and developed algorithms and signal processing techniques.
She is a researcher on the EU Horizon 2020 Project sustAGE. Her research interests include medical signal processing, neurophysiological sensing and emotion aware computing.
