Curriculum/Vitae

Katrin D Bartl-Pokorny received her master's degree in Applied Linguistics at the Karl-Franzens University of Graz, Austria in 2010 and her PhD in Medical Science at the Medical University of Graz, Austria in 2019. She joined the Research Unit iDN - interdisciplinary Developmental Neuroscience at the Medical University of Graz in 2010 and became Senior Lecturer in 2014. Since 2020, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Embedded Intelligence for Health Care and Wellbeing, University of Augsburg, Germany. She is currently involved in the Erasmus+ project EMBOA. Her primary research interest is in the speech-language and socio-communicative development of typically developing children and children with developmental disorders, foremost autism spectrum disorder, Rett syndrome, and fragile X syndrome.
