Saravanan Ganesan brings extensive experience in international project management with a strong focus on India–Germany cooperation. Building on his M.A. in European Studies and his LL.M. in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. During his tenure at the Embassy of India in Berlin, he led bilateral projects, strengthened strategic partnerships, and advanced sustainable collaborations between India and Germany.

A central focus of his work lies on Ayurveda and Yoga in Germany. As project lead, he played a key role in establishing the Ayurveda Unit at Immanuel Hospital Berlin and continues to advocate for the integration of traditional Indian healing systems into the German health‑care landscape.

As a co‑founder of the non‑profit organization AFRIW e.V., he is also deeply engaged in labor rights, migration, and human rights protection. Through workshops, targeted advocacy, and public awareness campaigns, he works to strengthen the rights of migrant workers and combat labor exploitation. In recognition of this commitment, he received the 2025 Volunteer Award (Ehrenamtspreis) of the Berlin‑Mitte district.
