Franziska Max earned a bachelor’s degree in osteopathy from Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Idstein and completed a master’s degree in Social Ethics in Healthcare at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. She works as a self-employed osteopath and previously served as the program coordinator for the master’s program in Social Ethics in Healthcare. She is a member of the Frankfurt Association for Solidarity in Health and served as a student assistant in the Public Health Ethics Working Group of the AEM (Professional Association for Ethics in Healthcare) and the DGPH (German Society for Public Health). 

 

Her professional interests lie in the areas of public health ethics, health as a human right, social determinants of health, access to healthcare, and social movements in the field of health.

 

In her role as a research and administrative assistant at the IEHHS, Franziska is helping to establish public health ethics as a field of study in Germany.
