Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Raven Rinas is a research associate in the Department of Psychology at the University of Augsburg. Her primary research interests include fostering motivation and well-being in educational contexts, particularly in the realm of higher education. She completed her Ph.D. in Psychology within the Empirical Educational Research Program at the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Augsburg (2018–2022). Prior to this, she completed her M.Sc. in Psychology of the Learning Sciences at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (2016–2018), and her B.A. in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario (2011–2016).
Research interests
- Fostering motivation and well-being in teachers and students (with a focus on the higher education context)
- Developmental trajectories and interplay of motivation and well-being
- Regulation of emotions and motivation in educational contexts
