Curriculum Vitae

Dominik Wilhelm completed his undergraduate studies at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Stuttgart with focus on Bank Business Administration. Consecutive he studied information-oriented business administration at the University of Augsburg in the cluster Finance & Information. He also acquired the Postgraduate Certificate in Management (PGCM) form University of California - Riverside (USA) during his postgraduate visit.


After and during his studies, he gained working experience at consultancy alternus, Hamburg, where he was involved in various consulting projects in cooperation with banks, insurance companies and health insurance companies. At the Südwestbank AG, he worked among other things in the departments of private banking, corporate finance advisory, credit analysis and enterprise control. As a project manager he also helped the cooperation to develop and establish a new corporate strategy in terms of the so called digital transformation. As a research assistant and tutor he also supported the work of the Chair of Prof. Dr. Erik E. Lehmann.


As a teaching research fellow and PhD student at the Department of Management and Organization, he is doing research in the field of Entrepreneurship & Finance, what also includes alternative forms of financing such as crowdfunding and SME bonds as well as innovative business models of companies out of the financial sector.
