Curriculum Vitae
Mr. Schüßler studied Business and Information Systems Engineering at both the bachelor's and master's level at the University of Augsburg, specializing in Operations, Finance, and Information Management. During his master's program, he completed an exchange semester at Örebro University in Sweden.
In his bachelor's thesis, "Can Digital Innovation Units be Catalysts for the Digital Transformation of Firms," Mr. Schüßler examined the influences of internal corporate teams on digital transformation as described in the literature.
In his master's thesis, "Analyzing and Improving Readability in German Environmental, Social, and Governance Reporting," Mr. Schüßler applied machine learning methods, including task-specific fine-tuned transformer models and general-purpose large language models, alongside established methods from natural language processing, to investigate how the readability of German ESG reports can be automatically assessed and improved.
