Max Neuhaus has been a doctoral researcher at the Chair of Public Economics and Health Economics, headed by Prof. Dr. Robert Nuscheler, since February 2026.

Prior to this, he studied Economics (B.Sc.) at the University of Augsburg from 2019 to 2023 and subsequently completed the master’s program in Economics and Public Policy (M.Sc.) at the same university. In his master’s thesis, he examined how reforms in Germany’s statutory health insurance system affect policyholders’ switching behavior.

During his studies, Max Neuhaus gained practical experience as a working student, including a position as a Junior Consultant at a management consultancy in Augsburg. Towards the end of his master’s program, he also worked as a student assistant at Prof. Dr. Robert Nus
