Workshop “Current Research on Early Modern History”
PhD Student Exchange on Ongoing Projects: In addition to strengthening research collaboration between the IEK (Augsburg), the IKFN (Osnabrück), and the ZHF (Bonn), the program focuses on fostering networking among PhD students. The workshops are held annually at the three locations.
Other Events
The Institute for European Cultural History regularly organizes conferences, book presentations, and other events. It also serves as a partner for exhibitions, conferences, and lecture series.
Hainhofer Kolloquium
The 8th Hainhofer Colloquium took place in Augsburg from March 27 to 29, 2026, on the theme “Boring! Subversive and Transformative Aesthetics of Idleness.”
European Cultural History Day
Since 2016, a European Cultural History Day has been held regularly during the summer semester to explore key topics in cultural history and provide insight into the Institute’s work.
