The international conference "Almacenes de un tiempo en fuga: Revistas culturales en la modernidad hispánica" was held at the University of Augsburg from June 27th to 29th, 2013. The Jakob-Fugger-Zentrum co-hosted the conference. The event was organised by the Chair of Romance Literature/Spanish (Prof. Dr. Hanno Ehrlicher) at the University of Augsburg.

A keynote speech was given as part of a festive opening ceremony in the ballroom of the Schaezlerpalais by Dr. Andrzej Gasiorek (University of Birmingham) on the topic of "Modernist Magazines and the Idea of Community".
