The next edition of "Beyond Academia" welcomes Dr. Rakan Saeb, Post Doc at Bayer CropScience.

Rakan grew up in Munich and studied Chemistry at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where he carried out undergraduate research in the groups of Prof. Oliver Thorn-Seshold and Prof. Paul Knochel. Driven by his interest in organometallic chemistry and catalysis, he joined Dr. Josep Cornella at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung, where he studied the organometallic and catalytic properties of naked nickel complexes. After graduating in 2025, Rakan joined the Chemical Process Development department at Bayer CropScience as a postdoctoral researcher.
