Have you ever thought about creatively wrapping your research work into just a few minutes to bring your science to the public in an accessible, fun, and non-intimidating way? Then you are just the right person for this year’s Soapbox Science event in Munich 2026!

Soapbox Science is an annual public science communication event that brings cutting-edge science to the public. Soapbox Science Munich is one of many local organizer teams that are part of a worldwide initiative.

The Soapbox Arena will be at Rindermarkt on Saturday, 11th July, from 14:00 – 17:00.  Soapbox Science speakers will be on stage for one hour. The talks can be in German or English, you decide. There is no PowerPoint (but props are welcomed), just you and the audience! If it sounds scary, don’t worry! We will provide you with a speaker’s pack and help develop your talk with a public speaking workshop.
