The University of Augsburg aims to achieve a high level of performance not only in research but also in its teaching and study programmes and thus strives to continuously optimise the quality of its study programmes and teaching.
In order to ensure precisely this and thus emphasise their autonomy, the Quality Agency (German: Qualitätsagentur) has been established as a central institution at the University of Augsburg.

Wissen vermitteln – Inklusion mitdenken
Elf Zertifikate für inklusive Hochschullehre überreichte Wissenschaftsminister Markus Blume am 23. Mai 2022 an Hochschullehrerinnen und -lehrer der Universität Augsburg. Das Zertifikat ist Teil einer Reihe von Maßnahmen, die Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung das Studieren und Leben an der Universität Augsburg erleichtern und Teilhabe ermöglichen. Bereits 79 Lehrpersonen haben es seit dem Start 2019 abgelegt.

How to get here with public transport:
Coming from the city centre of Augsburg (Königsplatz), take tram line 2 in the direction of "Haunstetten West" and get off at "Sportanlage Süd P+R" or take tram line 3 and get off at "Fachoberschule".
You can use tram line 3 from Augsburg main station as well.
Travellers coming from Munich can use the exit at Haunstetter Straße station. You can reach tram lines 2 + 3 via this stop.
How to get here by car:
If you are driving to Augsburg on the B17, please take the exit "Universität/Messe". Then take the exit "Friedrich-Ebert-Str." heading east. Turn left at the second traffic light into "Alter Postweg". Finally, turn right into "Werner-von-Siemens Str.". The SIGMA Technopark is on the left-hand side. There are designated guest parking spaces available.
