Studied vocational education with a focus on mechanical engineering, politics, and sociology at the Technical University of Munich. Has been working as a trainer since 1998, specializing in educational technology. Long-standing teaching career at the TUM School of Education (2005–2014); received the 2013 Award for Excellence in Teaching from the Bavarian State Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and the Arts (StMBKWK). One of the first adopters in Germany of tablets in classroom instruction and teaching. Since 2018, Head of the Educational Technology Division at TUM
