Important to know


  • Interinstitutional Agreement (contract between your Home University and the University of Augsburg)
  • You have to be nominated by your Home University. Please ask your International Office for further advice and information about your options!

Language requirements:  

In order to follow along in lectures, take part in class discussions, and write term papers and written exams in either German- or English-taught courses, we strongly recommend that you have the following language levels:

  • Courses in German: German B2


    Courses in English: English B2 + German basic skills

You´ll have to upload an official language certificate.


Erasmus+Internships: Please note that the University of Augsburg does not accept interns in the administrative level. In case that you have been invited for a traineeship in a faculty, then please contact the person who has signed your training agreement.


Thesis: Please note also that it is not possible to write a thesis within the Erasmus+exchange at UniA.
