After the Mobility
Recognition of Credits from abroad
All WeltWeit participants receive a Transcript of Records from their host university. This document provides an official record of the courses completed, including grades and credits earned. As soon as you receive your Transcript of Records, you should begin the credit recognition process without delay.
To do so, you must submit an application to the Examinations Office. Download the relevant form for your degree programme from the Examinations Office website and complete it with your personal details and the courses for which you wish to receive recognition.
Please submit the following documents together:
- Your completed recognition application form ("Antrag auf Anerkennung");
- Your Transcript of Records from the host university; and
- Your approved Recognition Agreement ("Anerkennungsvereinbarung (AV)"), including any amendments made before or during your exchange.
The Examinations Office will process your application and forward it to the relevant Examination Board ("Prüfungsausschuss"), which is responsible for converting your grades and confirming recognition.
Once the process has been completed, the recognised credits will be entered into STUDIS and you will be notified accordingly. The International Office will also be informed that your recognition process has been completed.
Testimonial Questionnaire
At the end of your exchange, all WeltWeit participants are required to fill out the testimonial questionnaire in Mobility-Online.
The report includes information about:
- the host university;
- accommodation;
- living costs;
- entry and visa requirements;
- local culture and daily life; and
- the climate and weather conditions.
These student reports are an invaluable information resource for future exchange students. We therefore ask all participants to complete their questionnaires within four weeks of returning from their exchange.
You are also welcome to upload photos of your university, accommodation or host city.
