The interdisciplinary Bachelor’s programme Data Science is positioned at the interface between computer science and mathematics. Special emphasis is put on establishing broad mathematical foundations in order to create a strong basis for data science and its appliaction and impementation. The diverse modules in mathematics and computer science strengthen the structured thinking required in the field of data science. Students can deepen their knowledge through elective modules and so set individual areas of soecialisation
