Climate and Environment Sciences (M.Sc.)

Study content:

On the one hand, the study programme provides advanced scientific and methodological knowledge in the field of climate research and, on the other hand, offers elective modules from the field of environmental sciences, whereby three of the four disciplines offered are to be selected according to individual focus. The spectrum includes subject areas that are closely related to climate research and have special significance in the context of climate impact research. A special feature is the strong integration of non-university research institutions in the study programme. Up to 30 credit points can be completed at non-university research institutions.

If the degree certificate is not available, proof of the examination results achieved in this degree programme, the average grade achieved, the number of credit points included in the calculation of the average grade, as well as the number of credit points required for the completion of the corresponding degree programme must be enclosed (Transcript of Records). Students of the University of Augsburg please apply for the transcript of records at an early stage via e-mail ssc@zv.uni-augsburg.de at the Student Service Centre. You will be notified via your e-mail address as soon as the transcript can be collected or has been sent by post.

 

Applicants who have completed examinations in a degree programme to the extent of 140 credit points will be enrolled in the Master's degree programme in Climate and Environmental Sciences under the resolutory condition that they provide evidence of completion of a degree programme with an overall grade of at least 2.5 by the end of the semester following their first enrolment in the Master's degree programme in Climate and Environmental Sciences.
