The Bachelor's degree programme in Social Sciences is an integrated programme of the subjects Political Science and Sociology. In addition, a selection of optional subjects complementing the social science subject area can be studied. As a professionally qualifying, pracical-oriented degree programme, it imparts a broad foundation of knowledge through its interdisciplinary and integrative combination. It thus offers a practice-oriented and differentiated education for all those occupational fields in which extensive knowledge of living conditions and processes of change in modern societies is expected as a necessary basis for professional work.
