Intelligent Perception in Technical Systems

We research computer vision and machine learning methods for intelligent systems, in particular robotics and embodied artificial intelligence.

We investigate methods and algorithms of visual and multimodal perception in technical systems such as robots that interact with their environment. For example, we deal with methods that can detect the motion and properties of robots and other objects in the environment using sensors, so that robots can make decisions about their actions in the environment. We consider robotic systems that handle objects and navigate autonomously.
