Here you can find a brochure for family members and friends of patients with severe brain injuries. It contains information about disorders of consciousness and how consciousness is determined using technological measures, some of which are new, to support diagnosis and prognosis assessment. It is intended to facilitate and support the communication process between you and your medical team. The brochure was created as part of the EU research project “EraPerMed - PerBrain,” which investigates the effectiveness of diagnostic measures and their impact on the medical care of patients with disorders of consciousness.
