Enrolment
Enrolment takes place after an application to study has been submitted and admission to the degree programme has been granted by the Registrar’s Office (Studierendenkanzlei) at the University of Augsburg.

Information about enrolment for the winter semester 2023/24
If you would like to enrol in an open admission degree programme, online applications can be submitted up until 23.10.2023. An enrolment request (Antrag auf Einschreibung) with the relevant documentation or, if applicable, a request to change degree programme (Antrag auf Umschreibung) or to study a double degree (Antrag auf Doppelstudium) must be submitted by 23.10.2023 to the Registrar’s Office (Studierendenkanzlei) at the University of Augsburg.
Missing documents, including the electronic notification (M10) from your health insurance provider, can be submitted up until 25.10.2023. These documents must be received by the Registrar’s Office by this date.
If you have received a letter of admission (Zulassungsbescheid) for a restricted admission (NC) degree programme or a master’s degree programme, please take note of the deadline provided on the letter.
Applications with foreign qualifications/certificates are only possible up until 13.10.2023 as they need to be reviewed to ensure that admission is possible or, if applicable, whether further documentation is required.

The lecture period begins on 16.10.2023.
You will receive your Campus Card Augsburg and your computer centre ID, which is required for logging in to campus portals, following enrolment.

Please transfer the semester fee to the amount of €150.63 two weeks before enrolment to the bank account below:

The above format must be followed! For students who are changing degree programme, please provide your enrolment number.
Proof of payment must be provided in the form of a bank statement (copy). Online transfers must be proven by submitting a printout showing that the transfer has been carried out.
Once you have compiled your documents and transferred the semester fee, you can begin the enrolment process. You can find further information about the enrolment process via the link.

After successful enrolment, you will receive the Augsburg Campus Card (CCA) by post.
Information about health and accident insurance
All students must provide evidence of health insurance in order to be able to enrol. Further information about health insurance during your studies can be found here.
Second residences tax
