Leibniz-Preis für Informatikerin Elisabeth André

Hohe DFG-Auszeichnung für Augsburg – Informatikprofessorin führend in Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion

Augsburg/CH/MR - Augsburg scientist Prof. Dr. Elisabeth André will receive the 2021 Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize. The renowned computer science professor will be awarded Germany's most important research funding prize for her work on multimodal human-machine interaction. The Leibniz Prize is awarded annually by the German Research Foundation to up to ten researchers and comes with prize money of up to 2.5 million euros each for independent research projects. André is the fourth Leibniz Prize winner from the University of Augsburg - and its first female recipient.
