Congratulations to former EIHW researcher Gil Keren on the successful defence of his doctoral thesis on the 16th June! A candidate at the University of Passau, Gil defended his PhD, ‚Neural Network Supervision: Notes on Loss Functions, Labels and Confidence Estimation‘, online via Zoom. The examiners were Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Björn Schuller — Gil‘s supervisor, Prof. Dr. Gerhard Widmer (Johannes Kepler University Linz), Prof. Dr. Harald Kosch (University of Passau) and Prof. Dr. Michael Granitzer (University of Passau).
