Congratulations to EIHW researcher Shahin Amiriparian on the successful defence of his doctoral thesis at the Technical University of Munich on the 20th December! Shahin was awarded the distinction summa cum laude for his thesis titled ‘Deep Learning Representation Learning Techniques for Audio Signal Processing’. The examiners were Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Björn Schuller — Shahin’s supervisor (2nd right), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sami Haddadin (right) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eckehard Steinbach (left).
