New Publication in JAHA: Sex-Specific Effects of a High-Salt Diet
A joint study by the research groups of Meissner and Stemmer, in collaboration with partners from Lund University (Sweden), was recently published in the Journal of the American Heart Association (JAHA).
The study reveals sex-specific responses of the heart, blood vessels, and kidneys to a high-salt diet and demonstrates that reducing salt intake can reverse some of the observed effects.
