Longer periods of study or school practice abroad are the best and most sustainable way to experience internationalisation and make it effective for professionalisation in the future profession. The international mobilities of the student teachers of the University of Augsburg are planned from the beginning of the A.LEAP project and realised from the end of the first project year with specific preparatory, accompanying and follow-up seminars. The content of the seminars varies depending on whether the students are undertaking a traditional study abroad programme, a study visit with practical components or a final thesis. Students are selected through a scholarship system. In return, students from the network universities are invited to come to Augsburg.
