Evaluation
The project activities of the ‘A.LEAP’ project are scientifically monitored and evaluated. The evaluation of the project serves the institutional development process of a sustainable establishment of the internationalisation of teacher training at the University of Augsburg. Within the project, the evaluative research also serves to review the achievement of goals and the quality of the activities undertaken.
Continuous fine-tuning is planned for the ongoing optimisation of the different activities via the continuous evaluations of the individual measures. Interviews and surveys are used as methods in the areas of ‘Internationalisation@home’ and ‘Internationalisation abroad’ as well as the summer and winter schools.
The evaluation activities take into account:
- the complexity of the teacher training programmes (various subject combinations, differentiation by type of school, internships, etc.)
- the different areas of impact of the activities (e.g. curricula of teacher training programmes; university-wide, faculty-specific and subject-specific cooperation)
- the various addressees of the activities (teacher trainers, student teachers, teachers, internal/external counselling and service institutions)
