Students and researchers in science, including social sciences, technology, engineering, mathematics, or medicine: Are you interested in presenting your research in 180 seconds in an entertaining, engaging way? In the FameLab science competition, young scientists have three minutes to explain their research topic in the natural or social sciences to the audience and a top-class jury. Presentations can be held in German or English.

The two best participants from each regional competition will take part in the FameLab Germany finals in Bielefeld, where they compete for the chance to represent Germany at the international FameLab finals. 

The regional competition winners and runners-up receive a two-day communications and media training. The professional training will be offered in cooperation with the National Institute for Science Communication (NaWik).
