Travel from Memmingen Airport
There are buses from Memmingen Airport to Memmingen Station. From there, take a regional train to Augsburg. The total travel time is about 1.5 hours.

From Munich Airport, take the S-Bahn (lines S1 or S8) to Munich-Pasing Station (approx. 45 minutes). From there, there are regular train connections to Augsburg. The total travel time is about 1.5 hours.

Public Transportation in Augsburg

The city area is divided into several zones, with zones 10 and 20 covering almost the entire city center and the surrounding districts. If you travel within zones 10 and 20 (e.g., from the city center to the university), you will need a ticket for two zones, i.e., fare level 2 (zones 10 and 20).
Travel within the City-Zone (e.g., between the main station and Königsplatz) is free of charge.
