Professor Egya’s research interests include literature and politics, literature and environment, and cultural studies. He has, in recent times, written on notions of environmental justice and activism, human-nonhuman relations, and the decolonial force of African natures.
In the Green Hour he will present five short poems from his new collection which is still work in progress. They are poems about nature, corporeality, and how illness exposes human limitations in the context of a postcolonial state.
