Chair of EIHW takes part in Informatics Day

The Chair of EIHW was happy to take part in this year’s Informatics Day (Tag der Informatik), a University of Augsburg event for high school students and their teachers, on 28th March.

PhD candidate Manuel Milling gave a taster lecture (in German), ‘Early detection of illness with the help of artificial intelligence’, which was well-received by the more than 90 attendees.

Chair researchers also gave two demonstrations, ‘Denoising using neural networks’ and ‘A graphical visualisation of machine learning’.

The event informs students about informatics study at the university and provides a taster of areas of teaching and research. Good job, everyone!
