Mobile Health (mHealth) technologies, such as apps, smart watches or sensors, are increasingly becoming an integral part of health promotion, disease prevention and management. Advocates of a wide use of mHealth promote these technologies as promising drivers of solutions to pressing organizational and financial challenges in the healthcare sector. The hope is high that mHealth can positively revolutionize and transform healthcare, improve disease prevention and access to health services.
All contributing papers should discuss the ethical and social aspects of mHealth and their global dimensions and implications. The editors welcome early discussion of brief proposals and/or abstracts.
