The certificate is issued in cooperation of the chairs of Prof. Kunz (Controlling) and Prof. Schultze (Accounting and Controlling).

Optimal design of internal and external information flows and control systems is essential for successful and sustainable corporate management. This requires, among other things, the support of internal decision-making processes by planning, control and coordination instruments from the controlling department and the provision of external information by the accounting department. Due to the growing challenges of the company environment, one can expect and already observe a strongly increasing demand for specialists with relevant interface competencies.

By focusing on the above-mentioned disciplines during your studies, you will not only have advanced knowledge in financial and sustainable corporate management, which is critical for success, but also professional competence in internal corporate accounting and external accounting. You are able to comprehensively deal with both subject-specific and interdisciplinary problems and offer companies appropriate solutions.

The "Accounting and Controlling" certificate enables you to precisely signal this specific acquired expertise to companies with a formal written proof.

• This certificate is exclusively for master students of the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Augsburg.
• To receive the certificate you need at least 36 LPs from courses held by the Chair of Prof. Kunz and/or the Chair of Prof. Schultze.
• In addition, you must write your master's thesis either at the Chair of Prof. Kunz or the Chair of Prof. Schultze.
• You also need a PCA certificate.
