Katerina Antimisaris, born in Heidelberg in 1995, studied business management in Mannheim with a focus on hotel, tourism and event management. She then completed her master's degree in environmental ethics with a major in environmental education and decarbonization at the University of Augsburg.

Since June 2022, she has been a research associate at the Chair of Production & Supply Chain Management, in the Resource Lab working group. In her doctorate, she is dedicated to "Green Hospitals" and examines sustainability indicators as well as sustainability measures for hospitals.
