You have to de-register from the city of Augsburg only when you leave Germany, or in case you want to cancel a second apartement (Nebenwohnung).

If you leave Augsburg by July 15th 2026, please send scans of the following documents to service@aaa.uni-augsburg.de:

• your passport
• residence permit (+ green "Zusatzblatt") or Fiktionsbescheinigung
• Abmeldeformular  fill-in help
